PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage detector, improving the accuracy of detecting a position of liquid or gas leakage by clearing the relationship between the pre-movement and the post-movement in the case of moving a detection means such as a sensor. SOLUTION: This leakage detector 2 for detecting leakage includes: a plurality of vibration sensors 3 respectively configured to detect wave motion caused from the position of leakage; an azimuth sensor 5 for specifying the positional relationship between a predetermined reference direction and the plurality of vibration sensors 3; and a measuring device 17 for estimating the position of leakage using the mutual correlation between the respective detection signals of the plurality of vibration sensors 3 and the positional relationship specified by the azimuth sensor 5.
