The invention relates to a force transmitting device for vehicle brakes, comprising an application lever (1) and a pressure piece (7) which are hingedly interconnected by means of a shell-shaped bearing (10), the inner bearing shell (11) of which rests against the application lever (1) and the outer bearing shell (11) of which rests against the pressure piece (7). Both sides of a bearing space (14) that is formed between the bearing shells (11, 12) are protected from dirt by means of edges (22, 23) which are formed on the bearing shells (11, 12). In order to make such a force transmitting device easier to mount, the edges (22) of the inner bearing shell (11) embrace the edges (23) of the outer bearing shell (12). |
