PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video information processor which saves capacity of a storage part of the processor while preventing degradation in quality of a reproduced picture, and to provide a video information processor which manages and controls reproduction operation of information divided by the video information processor by using a recording medium such as an optical disk. SOLUTION: The video information processor 100 is equipped with an information read-out part (optical pickup 2 etc.), a magnetic disk 3 and a system controller part 18. The information read-put part is attached to and detached from the processor 100, and reads reproduction permission information 40 from an optical disk 1 in which first information can be recorded. Second information can be recorded in the magnetic disk 3.
