PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calculate the entire motion vectors of a plurality of image frames constituting moving image information. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 is provided with a CPU 71 which performs processing for: dividing each of a plurality of image frames constituting moving image information generated by an imaging part 1 into a plurality of blocks; tracking a prescribed divided block with either of the front and back image frames of one image frame and calculating a motion vector of the block; calculating the entire motion vectors of one image frame by comparing any one of the plurality of motion vectors with other motion vectors; and specifying a block which not to be compared with the one motion vector as an evaluation target and exists within a prescribed distance from a block related to the one motion vector in calculating the entire motion vectors.
