PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that prevents exfoliation between insulating layers while preventing the occurrence of a short circuit between internal electrodes. SOLUTION: A laminated body is composed by laminating a plurality of insulating layers 13, 15. External electrodes 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d are respectively formed on each side-face of the laminated body. A plurality of internal electrodes 14, 16 respectively include each body part 20, 30, having a shape formed by linearly cutting off the four corners of a rectangular, and each lead-out part 22a, 22b, 32a, and 32b for connecting each body part 20, 30 with each external electrode 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d. The width of each lead-out part 22a, 22b, 32a, and 32b is shorter than the length of each side of the body parts 20, 30 connected with the lead-out parts 22a, 22b, 32a, and 32b. Each of linear parts L1 formed at the four corners of the body part 20 is not overlapped with each of straight-line parts L2 of the body part 30 adjacent to the body part 20 when viewed from the lamination direction.
