A heat exchanger element having a laminate structure such that sheet partition members and, bonded thereto so as to form a gas stream flow channel in cooperation therewith, spacing members are piled one upon another, the laminate structure including multiple adhesive layers for bonding individual partition members with spacing members corresponding thereto, wherein a colored adhesive layer is included in the multiple adhesive layers. Accordingly, manufacturing of an element of desired coloration at low cost despite the type of the element can be facilitated.
