MILLIMETER WAVE TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION SYSTEM, FREQUENCY CONVERSION DEVICE, MODEM DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a millimeter wave transmission and reception system which transmits data to be transmitted and received between a communication line and a network terminal on a network, bidirectionally by radio using millimeter wave, the system suppressing millimeter waves sent and received by the system from affecting operations of other electronic equipment.

SOLUTION: The millimeter wave transmission and reception system has a hub 14 constituting a LAN and an information processor 102 as a network terminal of the LAN each provided with a modem 20 and a modem module 90 each having frequency converters (master device/slave device) 30 and 60 converting respective uplink and downlink signals into millimeter waves and transmitting and receiving them. The hub 14 is provided with an error rate measuring device 10 which measures an error rate of reception data and sends the measurement result back to the data transmission source. The information processor 102 sends reference data to the error rate measuring device 10 to measure the error rate of the data and then adjusts transmission power from the slave device 60 so that the measurement result has a maximum value within an allowable range.
