PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a changing structure in the light-irradiation direction of a spotlight, and to prevent a wire break. SOLUTION: The spotlight 1 is provided with a light source 2, a reflecting mirror 3 reflecting light irradiated from the light source 2, a socket supporting the light source 2, and an arm 5 housing the socket. The light source 2 has its center axis in a length direction arranged nearly in parallel with the opening face of the reflecting mirror 3. The reflecting mirror 3 is fixed to a shade 6 supported to the arm 5 in a manner of free turning with the center axis of the light source 2 in a length direction as a center. By this, by only turning the shade 6 without moving the light source 2 or the socket, a light-irradiation direction can be changed. Therefore, a changing structure of the light-irradiation direction can be simplified. Further, since neither the light source 2 nor the socket moves at the changing of the light-irradiation direction, a shape change of a lead wire accompanied by a change of a light-irradiation direction can be prevented in the case that the lead wire led out of the socket is housed in the arm 5, and the wire break can be prevented.
