PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus allowing an operator to easily observe an endoscopic image when the operator cannot see a monitor of the endoscope apparatus at a site. SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus 11 is provided with an image processing section 18b for processing signals of an image of a subject acquired via an optical system provided in an insertion section 13, and a telephone unit 19 detecting an access from a cellular phone 12, responding to the access and transmitting the image signals of the subject acquired by processing the image in the image processing section 18b, to the cellular phone 12 via a telephone line.
