This exhaust gas recirculation system for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine provided with a turbocharger for supercharging the engine with air comprises an exhaust gas recirculation pipe (6a) arranged between an exhaust line (5), downstream of a device (7) for treating the gaseous effluents of the engine, and the compressor (C) of the turbocharger. The pipe is provided with means (13) for treating the gases taken off downstream of the treatment device. The recirculation system additionally comprises differential pressure sensors (14, 15) arranged on either side of the gas treatment means and connected to an electronic control unit (9) mounted on board the motor vehicle. |
