A multi-directional input device is provided to improve workability in mounting a magnetic sensor on a device body while ensuring the positional precision of a magnet and a magnetic detection element of the magnetic sensor. A multi-directional input device(1) comprises a case(2) having a cavity inside, an operation member exposing a part from the case to be manipulated by an operator, first and second drive members(4,5) rotating according to the manipulation on the operation member, and rotation detection units(6a,6b) detecting the rotation of the first and the second drive member. The rotation detection unit comprises a holder which is connected to the first and the second drive member and holds the magnet, a magnetic detection element arranged to face the magnet maintained in the holder, and a cover receiving the holder and mounted on the case.
