<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of such erroneous transmission that the printing data of a significant document are transmitted to an unintended printer. <P>SOLUTION: An output destination selection part 31 selects a printer at an output destination which transmits print data from among a plurality of printers. A print history information storage part 32 stores the history of the significance of the print data transmitted to printers 11, 21A and 21B in the past in each printer. A significance setting part 36 sets significance designated by a user for print data to be transmitted to the printer from this time. A decision part 33 decides the validity/invalidity of a printer selected by an output destination selection part 31 based on the significance set by the significance setting part 36 and the significance of the print history information stored in the print history information storage part 32.
