PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device capable of improving the accuracy of positioning of the pile center and installation of a pile, regardless of the irregularities or height difference of the ground, positioning the pile center in a single operation, improving the efficiency when positioning the pile center or installing a pile, and reducing the man-hours for positioning the pile center. SOLUTION: The positioning device comprises a plate 3 having legs 2 capable of adjusting the height and the level; two turntables 4 and 5 installed at the same height as the top surface of the plate 3 and at a predetermined distance; laser pointers 6 and 7 fixed to the turntables 4 and 5, respectively and capable of horizontally irradiating laser lights 6a and 7a; a turntable directly-below position detecting means for detecting a position directly below at least one of the two turntables 4 and 5; and a rotation-operating means 8 for rotating the respective turntables 4 and 5 according to specified angles.
