PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal device capable of reducing labor hour required for authentication processing. SOLUTION: A sub-camera is initiated based on selection operation of "secret mode" by a user (Fig.(a)) and authentication processing is automatically performed (Fig.(b)) after a photographing enabled state is obtained after the end of initialization processing of the sub-camera. Thus, since trouble of performing photographing operation after the lapse of a time from the initiation of the sub-camera to the photographing enabled state can be avoided, labor hour required for authentication processing can be reduced. Furthermore, since a time lag from confirmation, by the user, of the photographing enabled state after the initiation of the sub-camera to execution of the photographing operation can be reduced and authentication processing can be performed within a short time after the initiation of the sub-camera, the time required for authentication processing can be shortened.
