PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge valve which can increase a pulse reduction effect without resulting in upsizing of its size. SOLUTION: A pillar member 31 is provided in a position which is opposite a chamber entrance 34 in a chamber 18, wherein the pillar member 31 has a small CD value in the regular flow direction and a large CD value in the reverse flow direction. Because of this, even when a valve port 13 is closed by a valve body 14, and a pulse is generated in the chamber 18, a pressure wave moving from the inside of the chamber 18 to an input port 15 is impeded by "the pillar member 31 having a large CD value in the reverse flow direction", and the pulse which enters the input port 15 is reduced. In other words, the pulse reduction effect can be increased without resulting in upsizing of the size. Since the pillar member 31 provided in the chamber 18 has "a small CD value in the regular flow direction", vaporized fuel can flow smoothly from the input port 15 to the valve port 13 during the opening of a purge valve 8.
