PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly discharge the water infiltrated from an outer joint on an outdoor side to the outside. SOLUTION: A caulking material 12, a backup material 13, a drainage vertical passage 14, and a water drainage pipe 15 are formed in the outer joint 11 of the vertical slit 3. The water infiltrated through the gaps 17;18 between a column 1, a wall 2, and the caulking material 12 due to the aged deterioration of the caulking material 12 is properly discharged to the outside through the gap 19 between an outer joint bar receiving body 6 and the backup material 13 and via. the water drainage vertical passage 14 and the water drainage pipe 15 to the outside without remaining on the backup material 13. Therefore, the caulking material 12 is not cracked in winter. The water drainage vertical passage 14 is formed as a vertically elongated cylindrical space surrounded by the outer joint bar receiving body 6 and the backup material 13.
