A manufacturing method of ultrahydrophobic cellulose fiber is provided to maintain a feeling of wearing which garment does not cling to skin and is not sticky and to prevent hypothermia by sweat after exercise by ejecting the sweat radiating from human body rapidly outside. A manufacturing method of ultrahydrophobic cellulose fiber comprises steps of: absorbing a hydrophobic compound selected from a group consisting of paraffin compound, fluorine compound and metal compound into cellulose fiber using a dispersion solution; heat-treating and fixing the absorbed hydrophobic compound.
