A butterfly type check valve equipping a sub disk to a slanting disc for reducing water hammer phenomenon is provided to reduce water hammer phenomenon and an installation space when water pressure is operated. A main valve(100) is divided into both sides and connects a sub disc(200) in order to rotate the both sides of sub valves. Weight bars(420,620) are connected to the rod of cylinders(500,510) to be connected to the valve main body. An indicator characterizes to be comprised of a pointer of an arrow shape provided to the one-side end surface of the main valve part or the sub-valve part. The ruler indicates the rotation angle of pointer while being provided to the valve body.
