A weight body for a weight band is provided to prolong life of the weight band by preventing an impact generated during exercise from causing weight material to break out from a weight band or to change the weight band, and a manufacturing method of the weight body for the weight band is provided. A weight body(20) for a weight band(10), which is filled in the weight band, comprises upper and lower base parts(22) formed from a thermosetting resin and a weight material aggregate(21) having predetermined weight and thickness formed between the upper and lower base parts, wherein the weight body can be used in an ordinary weight band comprising a fabric(30) having weight material filled therein, Velcro loops(31) formed on one side of the fabric, a coupler(33) formed on the other side of the fabric, and Velcro hooks(32) formed on the other side of the fabric oppositely to the Velcro loops, or can be used in a ring-shaped band fitted onto one's ankle or wrist.
