<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound which is readily synthesized and is suitable as an organic luminescent material emitting strong luminescence, to provide a method for producing the same and to obtain an organic electroluminescent element emitting high-luminance and high-efficiency luminescence. <P>SOLUTION: The adamantane derivative is represented by general formula (1) (X<SP>1</SP>s are each the different or the same substituent group, respectively and a monofunctional substituent group derived from a compound having the maximum of a fluorescent wavelength between 300 nm and 800 nm; n is an integer of 1-10). The method for producing the adamantane derivative is provided. In the organic electroluminescent element comprising an organic layer having a luminescent region between an anode and a cathode, the adamantane derivative represented by general formula (1) is contained in the organic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
