A base for mounting an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to protect the outdoor unit safely and improve the space utility of an outdoor space. A mounting part has a base plate securing and supporting a lower end of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, a plurality of vertical extension parts(120) are extended from the base plate upward, and fixing elements for restraining upper ends of the extension parts in position. A cover part(200) is mounted to the fixing elements and formed in the size and width for covering the outdoor unit, wherein a top part is opened and has a predetermined receiving space for planting.
