A slide type cover opening/closing apparatus for a portable terminal is provided to maximize the changed amount of the distance between the centers of rotation of each rotational plate according to opening and closing of the cover, thereby making the movement and operability of an elastic unit stable. A slide type cover opening/closing apparatus(100) for a portable terminal comprises the followings: a plate-type guide member(10); a plate-type moveable member(20) which is slidably assembled with the guide member; and an elastic unit(30) which is rotatably connected with the guide member and moveable member.
