A test apparatus and method of coating adhesion for vehicle are provided to quantitatively evaluate the adhesion of a coating specimen by sticking a cellophane tape at a fixed pressure regardless of the roughness of the specimen. An apparatus for testing adhesion of a coating specimen prepared from a vehicle body and chassis comprises a vertical support(26) in which a supporting plate(24) and a horizontal support(14) are provided on one side, a bolt(20) inserted to a hole formed on the supporting plate, a spring(21) connected to the bottom of the bolt, a pressing unit(22) provided on the lower side of the spring, a lever(19) whose one end is hinged on the vertical support and the other end is hinged with a roller(17) on which cellophane tape is wound, and a carriage(11) mounted on the horizontal support to move from side to side and in which a specimen is settled. |
