<p>The invention relates to an electro-kinetic convertor which directly converts the electric power into kinetic power in a gaseous medium, such as the air, without requiring any intermediate mechanical means, the claimed convertor being usable for any purpose implying the displacement of a gas mass or for ozone production. According to the invention, the electro-kinetic convertor comprises two grid-type panels (1, 2), one of said panels (1) being provided with some pointed metal rods (3) which are welded normal to a panel (1) in the cross points of the mesh thereof, the panels (1 and 2) being parallel to each other, placed on an insulating carrier, the rods (3) welded normal to a panel (1) being directed towards the other panel (2), both panels (1, 2) being power supplied from a D.C. source which can ensure the assembly supply at 8...27 kV and at least 10 micro A, the negative electric pole being coupled to the panel (1) with the pointed rods (3).</p> |
