A portable terminal connecting to communications network and a communications network connecting method using the same are provided to connect communication network efficiently by trying to reconnect the portable terminal in case of refusing to connect communication network. If requesting WAP server connection(S101), WAP server connection request signal is transmitted to communications network. When receiving connection refused signal from the communication network(S102), reconnection request signal is transmitted from the communications network. When receiving access accept signal according to the reconnection request signal, the WAP server is connected through the communications network(S105). If connection refuse signal is received and a timer is operated, the reconnection request signal is transmitted in predetermined times(S107). |
