A ballast circuit for a direct current/alternate current high voltage lamp is provided to turn on a direct current/alternate current high voltage lamp by ballasting high current voltage of a load driving power. A PWM controller(3) receives a detection signal of variable current and voltage which are used as the system load in order to minimize the change of operating current and voltage of a high voltage lamp which is used as the system load. The PWM controller maintains a whole system stably by applying substantial load voltage and current to the system load. A DC/DC converter boosts inputted DC voltage to DC/AC voltage and converts the boosted voltage to DC/DC voltage. An auxiliary power unit(4) generates a standard signal which detects load power, and a power MCU(Micro controlling Unit) generates setting current by receiving a control signal from the auxiliary power unit and supplies the generated setting current to the PWM controller. |
