SOLUTION: In the present invention, whether or not a diaphragm control value is at a stable state is judged, and when it is judged that the diaphragm control value is at the stable state, the compensation according to the diaphragm control value is performed. In addition, in the imaging apparatus loading an anti-vibration function, whether or not an anti-vibration vibration angle is below a preset reference value is judged and when it is below the reference value, compensation according to the anti-vibration vibration angle is performed, thereby obtaining the imaging apparatus capable of performing the appropriate compensation of the peripheral light quantity deterioration by preventing the excess and deficiency of compensation of the peripheral light quantity deterioration.
