PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate cover for a gas range capable of easily applied to various types of gas ranges. SOLUTION: A sheet body 13 composing the top plate cover 11 has a rectangular sheet shape made of aluminum foil and paper bonded together. A first opening 15, a second opening 16, and a third opening 17 are formed in the sheet body 13, and ruled lines 19, 20 are formed around each of the openings 15, 16, 17 as opening auxiliary lines for forming an opening corresponding to an opening of different types of gas ranges. Further, ruled lines 25a, 25b, 26a, 26b are formed along the outer periphery of the sheet body 13 so that an outward portion can be freely bent. During use, an opening suitable for the gas range is formed by using the ruled line 19 for example, and the outer periphery of the sheet body 13 is bent to surround the outer frame of the top plate.
