<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in a presentation system. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 25 projects light onto a screen 21 and displays a display image. A user 31 operates a laser pointer 22 and irradiates the display image displayed on the screen 21 with invisible light for indicating a predetermined operation with respect to the display image. A camera 23 picks up the display image of the screen 21 as a picked-up image. An image processor 24 detects the image of the invisible light on the picked-up image obtained by the camera 23, and generates a new display image obtained by the operation instructed by the user 31, based on the detection result.
