摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having different thickness of a gas passage at both electrodes of an MEA in which leakage of a reaction gas can be suppressed without deteriorating durability regarding the seal structure of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 100 is constructed by laminating a plurality of layers of the MEA 30, a porous body passage 14, a porous body passage 16 formed thinner than the porous body passage 14, a separator 18, and a gasket 32 which is interposed between the MEA 30 and the separator 18 and maintains airtightness of the fuel cell by shrinking in lamination direction. The seal gasket 32 comprises a lip 34a arranged on the cathode side and a lip 34b which is arranged on the anode side and of which the height in lamination direction is formed lower than the lip 34a, and when the fuel cell 100 is tightened with a prescribed tightening force, the shrinkage amount in the lamination direction of the lip 34a and the lip 34b is made to be nearly equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
