PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception device that enables a user who does not require information of CMs to effectively use a time taken for CMs when a program of digital broadcasting being displayed is switched to CM broadcasting.

SOLUTION: Once a control unit 4 detects CM starting while the signal processing unit 3 is outputting an analog video signal based upon video data separated from a transport stream to a television set 9, the signal processing unit 3 outputs an analog video signal based upon data broadcast data separated from the transport stream and acquired by the control unit 4 and the video data separated from the transport stream to the television set 9.
