PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a goods packaging material capable of packaging goods without dropping it. SOLUTION: The goods packaging material 10 has a sheet body 13 composed of a front sheet 11 and a back sheet 12 which are continuous sidewise from each other and engaging sheets 14 and 15 extending vertically adjacent to the front sheet and back sheet respectively. Formed along the leading edges of the engaging sheets are engaging flaps 21 and 31 that are freely bent. These engaging sheets are bent relative to the front sheet or back sheet. To package goods X, the engaging sheets are disposed between the front and back sheets. The engaging flaps of the engaging sheets are folded upward.
