FIELD: armament and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: shell comprises a live grenade cartridge and a grenade simulator coupled with the former by a destructible link, the said simulator comprising a thin-wall plastic barrel-like casing with a drive collar, a thin-wall aerodynamic cap fitted coaxially with the casing and inert filler. The casing open end face features a narrowed OD allowing its fitting into the aerodynamic cap against the stop. The casing bottom has a filling neck closed with a plug. Note that a part of the said plug extends beyond the casing, while its opposite part is located in the said inert filler vulcanised without overpressure. The joint between the casing the aforesaid aerodynamic cap is covered with the inert filler. ^ EFFECT: reduced wear of barrel shell cost. ^ 5 cl, 1 dwg |
