PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device capable of reliably cutting off the transmission of vibration even when the valve device is inclined, without causing the breakage of a seal member during assembly. SOLUTION: On the insertion front end side of a valve port 5 beyond an annular press portion 6a, a plastic cap 9 harder than the seal member 6 is provided whose outer diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of a valve insertion hole 4. The cap 9 is supported in a valve port 5 via the seal member 6 which combines the function of a vibration absorbing member 8. Thus, during assembly, the cap 9 serves as a protecting member for the seal member 6 to avoid a trouble in breaking the seal member. Even when a solenoid valve 1 is inclined and the harder cap 9 gets in contact with the inner wall of the valve insertion hole 4, there is no trouble that the vibration of the solenoid valve 1 is transmitted to an intake manifold 3 because the seal member 6 (combining the function of the vibration absorbing member 8) is laid between the cap 9 and the valve port 5.
