<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a chip antenna which has superior shock resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the mounting structure where the chip antenna 1 having a columnar base body 2 made of a dielectric or magnetic body, a radiation conductor 3 provided on a surface of the base body 2, and electrodes 4 to 5 for external circuit connection is mounted on a circuit board 20 and electrically and mechanically connected, connection members 10 are used which are each formed by coupling a conductive elastic piece 12 to a conductive metal pin 11 having a head portion, where head portions are soldered to solder lands 21 on the circuit board while the metal pins 11 are pressed in predetermined parts of the base body 2 and fixed, and elastic pieces 12 are brought into elastic contact with the corresponding electrodes 4 to 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
