PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy by correcting the error caused in an inclination angle. SOLUTION: When the error of the inclination angle of a wire electrode is caused by the horizontal displacement of the supporting point for supporting a wire electrode, the correcting amount for correcting the error of the inclination angle is specified as the actual horizontal displacementsεU,εV of the supporting point RU' of the wire electrode E with respect to a reference position RU. Then, a control target position RUset in the positional control for a wire guide 9 tensionally supporting the wire electrode E is set based on the correcting displacementsεU,εV.
