<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for eyesight protection capable of protecting eyesight by additionally outputting light with a wavelength essential to eyesight activities even though the light is not outputted from a fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture for eyesight protection includes a socket for sandwiching the fluorescent lamp, a substrate having an LED for emitting a green light with a wavelength of 498 to 530 nm, a red light of a wavelength of 620 to 700 nm, and a bluish green light with a wavelength of around 495 nm, a ballast for the fluorescent lamp, and a DC supply unit for applying a DC power supply to the LED. Thus, the lighting fixture for eyesight protection can form a light source necessary for eyesight activities by assembling an inexpensive fluorescent lamp and the LED. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
