<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more clearly draw a nerve fiber layer defect (NFLD) by applying an image processing to a color fundus picture. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor for performing the image processing from an image of a color fundus photograph to examine a fundus image is provided with a color component extracting means for extracting a color component from the image of the color fundus photograph and a density conversion means for performing density conversion of the image from which the color component is extracted by the color component extracting means. The color component extracting means extracts components of greenish blue, green, and blue when outputting an image for examination of a nerve fiber layer defect (NFLD), a retina nerve fiber layer (RNFL), or epiretinal membrane. With regard to a component of greenish blue, when a provider of an image of the color fundus photograph has cataract as well, a ratio of the green component out of ratios of the green component and blue component is raised to extract the greenish blue component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
