PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reserve the video recording of an advertisement program. SOLUTION: When a program CM in which a video shown in Fig. 3 is displayed is broadcast, information representing a program tile "A wonderful space travel" and information representing a broadcasting start time "9:00 p.m. tomorrow" are extracted as advertisement program specification information from the video, and the program having the title "A wonderful space travel" to be broadcast at the time "9:00 p.m. tomorrow" is specified as an advertisement program on the basis of the advertisement program specification information. When the advertisement program is specified, information (for example, a reservation button 1A) prompting a viewer to reserve the video recording of the advertisement program is displayed over the picture of the program CM. A reservation for the video recording of the advertisement program can be set by performing predetermined operation on the display.
