<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work and shorten the work time by removing a protective device easily from the terminal of a wire, and to provide a safe work environment for a worker by bringing the terminal of a wire close to an apparatus to which the terminal of a wire is connected, thereby preventing occurrence of short-circuit or ground fault in the connection work. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal 51 of a wire previously coated with a protective device 1 is brought close to the side of an apparatus 52 such as a watthour meter to which the terminal of a wire is connected. Immediately before the terminal 51 of a wire can be connected with the apparatus 52, a cover portion 2 is opened by operating the grips 9 and 10 for the cover portion 2, the terminal 51 of a wire is exposed to the outside and connected with the apparatus 52, and then an attaching portion 3 is opened by operating the grips 19 and 20 for the attaching portion 3 so that the attaching portion 3 and the cover portion 2 connected therewith can be removed from the wire 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
