PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can improve the state of being fried of a food when an edible oil used in e.g. food frying is used, can reduce the deterioration of the edible oil itself, and can satisfactorily fry the food at a somewhat lower temperature, is excellent in the recyclability of waste oil, is excellent in food safety, and can contribute to the global environment. SOLUTION: A composition being a combination of the following three compositions: a ceramic composition prepared by thermally calcining a mixture comprising a powdery soil clay and a powdery anionic active ceramic at a high temperature, a ceramic composition prepared by thermally calcining a mixture comprising a powdery far-infrared-emitting ceramic at a high temperature, and a composition prepared by forming a metallic film on the surface of a ceramic composition prepared by thermally calcining a mixture comprising a powdery soil clay and a powdery radiating ceramic at a high temperature, is used by immersion in an oil.
