PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connector unit not required to be identified beforehand and identifiable when assembled in a communication system. SOLUTION: This relay connector unit 40 for communicably connecting a plurality of electronic devices 10 to an electronic control device 20 comprises: a first connection means 41 to which first wire harness 50 electrically connected to the electronic control device 20 is connected; a second connection means 42 to which a converged connector 70 formed by converging the second wire harness 60 electrically connected to the electronic devices 10 is connected; an identification information acquiring means 44a1 for acquiring the identification information for identifying the relay connector unit 40 from the converged connector 70 connected to the second connection means 42; and a communication relay means 44a2 for relaying the communication between the electronic devices 10 and the electronic control device 20 according to the identification information acquired by the identification information acquiring means 44a1.
