<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering-around pieces of a broken turntable while maintaining optical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The turntable includes at least a glass substrate, a plastic sheet, and an adhesive layer for bonding together the glass substrate and the plastic sheet. The double refraction of the plastic sheet is preferably 200 nm or less. In view of compatibility with a DVD and a CD, the thicknesses of the glass substrate, the plastic sheet, and the adhesive layer are defined so that a thickness of combining the turntable with an optical information recording medium is 0.6 mm when the thickness of the optical information recording medium (thin flexible optical disk) is 0.1 mm. For example, the thickness of the glass substrate is 0.4 mm, the thickness of the plastic sheet is 0.08 mm, and the thickness of the adhesive layer is 0.02 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
