PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of locking movable parts, without making the outside diameter large. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the actuator (1) for preventing image-shake by moving an imaging lens. The actuator (1) includes a fixed part (12); the movable part (14), including the imaging lens (16); at least three spherical bodies (18) for supporting the movable part; a driving means for driving the movable part; a rolling motion area (50) disposed on the fixed part, while surrounding the spherical body, where the spherical body is made rollable in an arbitry direction; a rolling motion area (54), disposed on the movable part where the spherical body is made rollable in optional directions; a location-restricted area (52), formed continuing from the rolling motion area on the fixed area and extending in the tangent direction of a circle, having an optical axis as its center where a distance from the optical axis to the spherical body is restricted to be a prescribed distance; and a location-restricted area (56) formed extending in the tangential direction of the circle, having the optical axis as its center so as to continue from the rolling motion area on the movable part.
