Apparatus for enamelling by applying enamel powder to a heated article, e.g. a bath, comprises a table 1, on which the article is mounted, and which is movable about two mutually perpendicular axes XX<SP>1</SP> and YY<SP>1</SP>, and a sifter or like enamel powder dispensing unit 7 which is mounted on a framework 3 comprising the articulated jibs 4 and 6 mounted on the upright members 15 and the base 8 so that it is movable about horizontal axes (A and B in Fig. 2, not shown) and vertical axis ZZ<SP>1</SP>. A counterweight 13 which is movable to allow for the changing weight of the dispensing unit is provided and the whole is controlled from the console 9 by electromechanical means which are described with reference to Fig. 3 (not shown).</p> |
