<p>A lip care composition is provided which includes at least 40% petrolatum, at least 5% glycerin, and 5 1 to 20% of a C 3(alkyl or hydroxyalkyl) alcohol ester of isostearic acid, wherein the glycerin and the isostearic acid ester are present in a weight ratio ranging from 5:1 to 1:1. A method for moisturization of lips is also provided through application of the composition to the lips.</p>
