PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembling and removing method of bridge girder intended to enhance safety and reduce construction cost by dispensing with a temporary strut and thus shortening the working time of a large crane in separation, disassembling and removal of an urban continuous elevated bridge or overhead crossing bridge. SOLUTION: When a bridge girder is removed by separating it at a mechanically cuttable girder cutting part 12 in the vicinity of a gerber hinge part 11, a beam 1 is laid over sections of a girder to be removed and a girder column head part 9 across the girder cutting part 12, the beam 1 is fastened to an end part of the girder to be removed by a fixture 2, a steel bar 3 and a nut 4 in an integrated manner, and the beam end part of the opposite girder column head part 9 is stabilized by attaching a receiving base 5 and an adjustment wedge 6 thereto, whereby the girder is never fallen even after cut at the girder cut part 12. The cut part 12 is cut into a vertical section as in the past but a section with an reversed V-shaped inclination, whereby the efficiency of lifting and removing work is enhanced, and the role as a safety device is provided in a case where a suspending metal fitting is nonfunctional.
