<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly change a protected available video image according to a viewing state of the video image stored in information recording media. <P>SOLUTION: Data of an available video image and a locked video image is stored in a DVD 10. A client terminal 20 transmits viewing state data indicating the viewing state of video data to a slave server 30 along with a unique ID after reading and reproducing the available video data from the DVD 10. The slave server 30 stores the received viewing state data and the unique ID in association with each other as a viewing log, and determines whether or not the client terminal 20 satisfies a specific condition to view the specific video by analyzing the stored viewing log. When the server determines that the client terminal satisfies the specific condition, the server notifies the client terminal 20 of the available specific video images.
