PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material conveying/storing system which can efficiently conveying and storing a plate material and where a formed part of the plate material does not crash in the storage state. SOLUTION: The plate material conveying/storing system is equipped with a plate material stocker 4 and a plate material conveying device. The plate material stocker 4 has a tray 34 having a plurality of stages which can be switched between an inside position A stored in a tray storage part 32 in a stocker frame 30 and an outside position B drawn from the tray storage part 32. The plate material conveying device has a plate material holding means 20 capable of holding the plate material W2 and a moving means having a function for moving the plate material holding means 20 in parallel to the position switching direction to be the drawing direction of the tray. The tray at the uppermost stage of the tray 34 having the plurality of stages at the outside position B is positionally switched to the inside position A by moving the plate material holding means 20 in parallel to the position switching direction by the moving means, and the plate material holding means 20 is positioned above the tray 34 lower by one stage.
