A method and device for transferring and receiving high speed Ethernet MII block,which make the amount of control lines increase slowly along with bit-width increasing and make the block type simple during PCS encoding. The solution of the embodiment includes: handling received MAC layer data and adjusting the distribution of control characters, therefore generating 64B block; obtaining control signal of the 64B block coding according to the relation between the form of the 64B block and the control signal coding; binding the 64B block and the corresponding control signal coding and transferring the bound data over multi-channel.
